CEO STEFAN BOHMAN COMMENTS

The corona pandemic came as a surprise to us all and IVISYS, as well as our customers and suppliers, have prioritized the health and safety of our employees. Our work has continued at our home offices, but the fact that we have not been able to visit our customers has slowed down our progress, and the short-term layoff we have carried out has reduced our costs for the period. However, we have recruited new talents to our teams that have become available due to the pandemic and now that the world is slowly reopening around us, our feeling is strengthened that we are correctly positioned in our offering.

During the quarter, we saw an increase in invoicing compared with the same period last year, and in June we successfully completed a directed new issue that has strengthened cash balance. Despite the pandemic, we experienced high interest in our logistics solutions during the quarter and we see that the logistics segment, with our Tray Inspector, Pallet Inspector, Logistic Inspector and Component Inspector, will be a focus area until the engineering industry has recovered from the crisis. During the quarter, we have successfully progressed in the development of our Pallet Inspector and developed a number of functions that will be extremely valuable to our customers.

We have increased the pace of our ongoing streamlining work and the new organization we developed during the quarter has begun to settle, with increased delivery and service capacity as a result. I have had the opportunity to delve further into our internal processes, so that we can continuously increase the efficiency and profitability of our business. With our existing customer base and our product portfolio, it is only a matter of maintaining calm and moving forward, so we can be ready when our customers are.
